Product safety

The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) has applied since 13 December 2024. It requires that, before you buy, you can see who made a product and what you need to watch out for when using it.
What the regulation requires
For online sales, Article 19 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 requires an offer to show, before purchase, the manufacturer with postal and email address, information identifying the product including a picture, and warnings and safety information in German (the language of the country of sale).
Who the manufacturer is
GLOSSDOC is a brand of Custom Automotive GmbH. Anyone who places a product on the market under their own brand is considered the manufacturer under Article 3(8) GPSR. The manufacturer of all GLOSSDOC products is therefore:

Warnings and safety data sheets
Cleaners, sealants, paints and primers are chemical products. The hazard and precautionary statements are on the label of every product and take precedence if in doubt. Read them before use and keep products out of the reach of children.
Aerosol cans (e.g. 2K clear coat, primer, blending paint) are pressurised: use only in well-ventilated areas, do not spray onto a flame or incandescent material, and protect from temperatures above 50 °C.

Report a safety issue
If you notice anything about a product that could be dangerous, please report it to us – with the product name, the batch number from the label and, if possible, a photo. We follow up every report and, if necessary, inform the market surveillance authority and all buyers.
Recalls
There are currently no recalls or safety warnings for any GLOSSDOC product. If there were, they would be listed here and we would notify those affected immediately.
