Our 2K clear lacquer range is built for wheels and paint repairs. A 2K clear coat cures chemically with a hardener – unlike 1K paint, which only dries. The result is a far tougher surface: resistant to UV light, weather, petrol and cleaning agents. That is exactly what a wheel or a repaired paint area needs when it faces brake dust, road salt and car washes every day.
GLOSSDOC 2K clear coat comes in three finishes: gloss for a classic high shine, satin for a subtle finish and matt for factory-style matt looks.
Once activated, 2K paint can only be used for a limited time – so the can should match the area. The 200 ml can is enough for spot repairs, single wheels, mirror caps and trim parts. For a set of wheels or larger body panels, the 500 ml can is the better choice.
For a clean result, clean the surface with silicone remover first and apply the clear coat over a suitable base coat.
