Primer and spot repair go hand in hand: a paint repair only lasts as long as its base. The 1K Epoxy Primer Grey creates a bonding layer on sanded areas and evens out small imperfections before colour and clear coat follow.
The 1K Blending Paint makes sure the transition between new and old paint does not remain visible as an edge – important for spot repairs, where only part of the surface is repainted.
A proven sequence: sand, degrease with silicone remover, prime, apply colour, seal with 2K clear coat and blend the edges with blending paint. Respect the drying times on the can between coats. A detailed guide is in the article Paint your wheels yourself.
Primer is used wherever sanding has exposed bare metal or plastic. Blending paint does not need a bare surface: it softens the edges of the old paint so that the new and old layers merge. Many repairs use both, one after the other.
