A repair usually takes several products: first silicone remover, then primer or blending paint and finally the 2K clear coat in the right finish. In the Car & Wheel Repair collection all steps are listed in this order.
The 2K clear coats come in 200 ml and 500 ml. The small can is enough for touching up individual spots, the large one for whole wheels or larger areas. Important with 2K paint: once activated it cures in the can and must be used within its pot life – this is printed on the can.
Scratches, kerb damage and chipped paint on wheels can be touched up yourself with spray cans if the area is manageable and you have enough time for preparation and drying. For deep dents, bent wheels or large paint damage on the bodywork, a specialist workshop is the better choice. For your own repair: several thin coats are better than one thick coat, and let each coat flash off properly.
