Wheel cleaner on film

What the film is about

The GLOSSDOC Wheel Cleaner is made for steel, alloy and chrome wheels and removes brake dust, dirt and oil – which is exactly what the film is about. It is also suitable for painted and coated wheels and for chrome trim. You apply it easily straight from the spray can. In winter it also helps loosen salt residue.

The cleaner is alkaline, with a pH of 12 according to the safety data sheet. So wear gloves and safety glasses, do not spray against the wind and do not breathe in the spray mist. Clean the wheels before the paintwork, so that loosened brake dust does not end up on the freshly washed bodywork.

Step by step

1. Let wheels and brakes cool down and do not work in direct sunlight.
2. Pre-rinse loose dirt with water.
3. Shake the can and spray the cleaner evenly from approx. 15–20 cm.
4. Leave it to work briefly, but do not let it dry.
5. Work stubborn spots with a soft wheel brush.
6. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and repeat for heavy soiling.

Tip: Work one wheel at a time, so you keep an eye on the dwell time and nothing dries on.
