What the film is about
GLOSSDOC Snow Foam is the foam bath for a gentle pre-wash. The film briefly shows what it is about: the foam loosens dirt, dust and insect residue without scratching. Snow Foam settles on the paint as a dense, clinging foam, soaks loose dirt and binds it. When you rinse, much of it runs off with the foam before your wash mitt even touches the paint. This noticeably reduces the risk of wash scratches.
The foam is densest with a foam lance on a pressure washer. A pump sprayer, a spray bottle or a bucket also work, but the foam is less dense. How much concentrate to put in which device is stated on the label. Snow Foam is the first step of the wash, not the only one: with heavier soiling it does not replace the hand wash that follows.
Step by step
- Wash in the shade and only when the paint is cool.
- Pre-rinse the car with clean water from top to bottom.
- Apply the foam from the bottom up.
- Leave it to work for a few minutes, but do not let it dry.
- Rinse thoroughly from top to bottom.
- Then continue with a hand wash using car shampoo.
Tip: If the foam turns dull or dry in one spot, rinse earlier – in warm or windy weather this happens faster.
