What the film is about
GLOSSDOC RAIN DOC is a glass sealant with a strong beading effect for a clear view in the rain – that is what the film is about. After application, an invisible, water-repellent layer forms on the glass. Rain no longer spreads into a film but gathers into droplets that the airflow carries away at higher speeds. Dirt sticks less easily, too.
RAIN DOC is suitable for windscreen, side and rear windows without attacking the glass. Applied correctly, it does not affect the wipers, but it does not replace them either. Preparation is what matters: the glass must be thoroughly cleaned and free of grease and residue. You do not seal the inside; a streak-free glass cleaner is enough there.
Step by step
- Wash the car and clean the windows thoroughly with glass cleaner.
- Let the glass dry completely and work in the shade.
- Put a little product on an applicator or a clean cloth.
- Apply it section by section in overlapping passes, first horizontally, then vertically.
- Leave it to work for as long as stated on the label.
- Buff with a dry microfibre cloth until no smears remain.
Tip: When water stops beading in the wiper area, clean the glass and refresh the sealant.
